Official Nobles County Records Routes
The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office operates the county jail and is the appropriate starting point for a current Nobles County custody question. The office is at 1530 Airport Road, Suite 100, Worthington, MN 56187. Its main law-enforcement-center number is (507) 295-5400; dispatch is (507) 372-8430. The jail, located at the Prairie Justice Center in Worthington, can be reached at (507) 295-5290 or jailpod@co.nobles.mn.us. Use the official live inmate listing for a current public entry, remembering that a listed charge is an accusation and the display is not a final court result.
Completed booking records and photographs
For an existing county booking record or booking photograph, use the written Nobles County Public Data Information Request Form. Identify the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office or Nobles County Jail as the custodian, give the person’s full name and approximate booking date, and request existing data. The sheriff’s public-data policy says information is not released while booking is incomplete. Send the completed form by email to administration@co.nobles.mn.us, or mail it to Administration Office, 315 Tenth Street, P.O. Box 757, Worthington, MN 56187. The Government Center lists Monday through Friday hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; in-person inspection is free by appointment. Copies of up to 100 black-and-white letter or legal pages are 25 cents per page, other copies may be charged at actual cost, and prepayment is required. The county does not publish a flat booking-photo fee or a fixed response time.
Where to check after the initial booking
For a public case, hearing, or disposition, use Minnesota Court Records Online and the Nobles County District Court. Court Administration lists Monday through Friday hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A missing defendant-name result does not establish that no case exists, particularly when a criminal matter is pending. For a sentenced person under state correctional jurisdiction, use the Minnesota Department of Corrections public offender locator, rather than the county roster.
Federal and immigration custody
The Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator concerns federal custody and does not show a Nobles County booking event or public booking photograph. The ICE Online Detainee Locator concerns current ICE or qualifying recent CBP custody. Neither replaces the county jail listing, a booking-record request, or a Minnesota court case search.
